Event Details

On Wednesday evening, June 20, 2007, Menlo Park Toastmasters Club hosts some students from the civic participation group Vision New America!

  • Learn why and how local high school and college students are involved in an organization that encourages people to be more active and engaged citizens.
  • Learn how you or your children can become active with VNA.
  • Learn how local Toastmasters have helped VNA students to become better communicators.
  • And learn how Menlo Park Toastmasters Club can help you to practice, learn, and use the Toastmasters communication and leadership skills -- so that you can achieve full-time, rewarding success.

Our doors open at 6:45 PM on June 20 so that you can meet and mingle with the VNA students and the members of Menlo Park Toastmasters.

7:00-7:30 PM, VNA will present its program. You are welcome to ask questions.

7:30-7:45 PM, we will have an intermission so that you can continue to meet and mingle.

7:45-8:15 PM, Menlo Park Toastmasters will demonstrate a short version of a typical Toastmasters meeting, so that you can see and experience the Toastmasters program in action.

Again, you are welcome to ask questions. We will be happy to take your application this evening to join our club.
